1. Material you submit
You should submit only prompts, lyrics, stories, names, recordings, images or other information that you created, that is in the public domain, or that you have permission or another lawful basis to use.
2. Generated output is not guaranteed to be exclusive
AI music systems are probabilistic. Another user may receive an output with a similar theme, style, structure, phrase or musical characteristic. SongLux does not promise that a generated result is unique, exclusive, registrable or protected by copyright in every jurisdiction.
3. Permission to use delivered output
Subject to payment, the Terms of service and any restrictions imposed by an underlying generation provider, SongLux permits the account holder to use the delivered result for lawful personal and commercial projects. This permission does not transfer ownership of third-party material and does not override rights held by another person.
4. Names, voices and identities
Do not use SongLux to impersonate, mislead, defame or exploit another person. You must have appropriate permission before requesting a recognisable imitation, voice clone, endorsement, likeness or private story involving another person. SongLux may reject or remove content that creates a rights, safety or deception risk.
5. Style requests
Broad descriptions of genre, era, instrumentation, mood and production characteristics are generally safer than asking for a direct copy of a living artist, a protected recording or a specific song. Users should describe the musical qualities they need rather than request reproduction of protected expression.
6. Review before release
Before publishing, monetising, distributing or registering a generated song, review the full output for unexpected lyrics, names, melodies, references, samples and third-party material. Professional legal advice may be appropriate for a high-value commercial release or a disputed right.
7. Reporting a concern
A rights holder who believes SongLux content infringes their rights should provide the published legal contact with identification of the work, the relevant SongLux link or project information, the basis of the claim and contact details. SongLux may temporarily restrict access while a credible report is reviewed.
